Desert King Snakes are the Southern mid-west/west subspecies of the Eastern King Snake. They are found from Southeast Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Western 2/3rds of Texas, Southern and Central Parts of New Mexico and Southeast corner of Arizonia. Their range also extends to Central Mexico. The average length are around 3 to 4 feet in length. Food items include reptiles and their eggs, mammals, birds and their eggs, and frogs.
