Type of Scales: Keeled Rosebelly Lizards are found in South Texas. Males have a marked belly, while the bellies of female are unmarked. They are a fairly common lizard around the visitor's center at Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. This species was described by Edward Hallowell in 1852. |
