Red-striped Ribbon Snakes are a subspecies of the Western Ribbon Snake. This subspecies is only found in Central Texas and surrounding areas. Average specimens are around two to three feet in length. Like other ribbon snakes, Red-striped Ribbon Snakes eat fish, frogs, earthworms and salamanders.
